I do know he has to follow a cetain diet and stay on his meds. He has lost a lot of weight. My sil said he has good days and bad days. But he is 52 years old, will be 53 in April. |

| My mom has it. She has had it for 27- 30 years. She has gone in and out of remission. There is hope. My moms case is pretty severe, but she lives a normal life. Its not her identity. I am sorry about your grandson. That is so sad. My mom was a little bit older than he was when she was diagnosed. She is thin, but I think she is beautiful. I am so proud of her. This will be a testimony of your grandsons. I will be praying for him. God can bring good out of all things. I don't know how, but He does. My mom is a fighter, she had confidence in herself because she has overcome so many challenges.

| I was diagnosed with Crohn's at 13 years old. At first, I was afraid that the doctors didn't ahve a way to treatit. I had a bowel ressection at age 16. After the surgery it sat dormant, with a few minor flareups, for 15 years. I had a second ressection at age 32. I am for the most part, a healthy 38 year old man. my lifestyle is not hindered by the disease, because I won't allow it too stop me from achieving all I can. There is a support group called CCFA Crohn's Collitis Foundation of America [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or
