Do ulcers go away?

recent medical studies have proved that ulcers can be cured with antibiotics. back when i had them, i had to take oral emulsions and eat a bland diet. pooey. but they did go away.

There are different kinds of ulcers, peptic ulcers(duodenal) and gastric ulcers they are in different parts.

Usually a lifestyle change helps if you smoke stop, it delays healing of the ulcer, some ulcers are caused by bacteria which can be helped with an antibiotic and those type once treated usually do not come back.

Ulcers are diagnosed with x-ray or endoscopy. The presence of H. pylori may be diagnosed with a blood test, breath test, or tissue test.

scooter - If you think you have ulcers, get to the doctor! They're not going to heal all on their own (trust me, I'm currently working on my lastest bout of them - I wish I wasn't allergic to antibiotics so I could be rid of them once & for all).

The bland diet does help, but you can do some serious damage if you allow an ulcer to go untreated. Please do yourself a favor & go visit the doctor. I know the goop you have to take with an endoscopy is disgusting, but at least it's over quickly.

I had to drink chalk crap and fizzy crap and pose for like 20 pics that will ultimately lead to infertility, but lets get those ulcers fixed!!!!
