 Time for the First DOD Christmas Card List to go Out....
Ok...let's see...last year was the first time we did the card exchange. In order to keep it semi private and easier, everyone sent their mailing address to me. I put it on a list and added new names to it as they came in. Then once a week I would send out an updated list to everyone. I will send it out more often (2 times a week) tho if we start getting quite a few names added to it, just so everyone feels a little more up to date. I do not put the names in alphabetical order or anything, just keep adding them to the bottom so it would be easier to just go down to the last one we all did and start from there. Everyone sent to everyone on the list. It was really quite fun. This year we will also be doing a "Towel Pal", I'll draw a name for everyone who is participating and get that to you no later than Dec. 1st.. You only have ONE towel to purchase and send. NOW, here's the kicker..hee hee...you have to send a kitchen or fingertip towel that matches YOUR decor or has to do w/ your username if possible (big if..lol) not that of the person you send it to! So you can pick up a towel any time you would want to, since it doesn't have to match the persons name or taste that I would draw for you. You can send it with your Christmas card or separately, that would totally up to you  Only people on the card list are eligible to do the towel pal. It seems only fair and not to mention it will keep it a little less confusing for me...LOL! So we can all be "on the same page"....please have your info ("real" name, username, mailing addy and if you want to be on both lists or just the Christmas Card List) to me by November 30th.. I don't anyone to feel rushed and have to shop at the last minute for more cards, this being the reason for the "cut-off" date. Now, I have to say, I sent out an email last month to all those who were on last years Christmas Card List..if I didn't hear back from you as of TODAY, I removed your name. Sorry nothing personal, but I felt it was time to let people get a start on addressing if they wanted to. I also had quite a few people decide they didn't want to participate so we've lost a few people as well. There's PLENTY of time tho to change your mind if you so wish As of now..there are 54 people on the Christmas Card List and 40 people on the Towel Pal. For those of you who receive the list, it will come as an attachment..it will NOT come from the email addy I have listed in my signature, but one from Bright.Net. If anyone sees an error with their info, PLEASE let me know ASAP. I did double and triple check, but I am so known for typing errors..LOL! If you haven't received the first list of addresses, then I don't have your info Sounds simple huh? Of course you ALL want to be added and are getting ready to email me at the address in my signature....right? LOL!Thanks to all!

Thanks Mouse! I'm so glad that you sent this now, we may be moving right after Christmas to North Carolina and things will start to get a little crazy around here pretty soon if things go well.
