 Just a suggestion:)
Okay- I know I am probably starting trouble here, and I know someone suggested it awhile ago to no avail but I have a suggestion that might work for our scandal filled forum... Is there anyway we could have a separate forum setup for strictly religious posts? If we can have a forum for good news, contests, etc. then we should be able to have a forum setup for religious freebies. I personally am not offended and just skip over them, but there seems to be so much turmoil after a religious post that if it were in a separate forum, those that might be offended would not even venture in there. As far as I always knew, this is not a religious site(especially with a resident perv like Sushi  ) so I find it amusing that there is so much religious content being posted-somehow I don't think someone will be "saved" by coming to a freebie site(well, I guess we do "save" so it depends on your definition) and I realize that the religious posters have as much right to be here, but so many people seem to be offended by the posts and it stirs up so much trouble. I have to admit that when actually taking the time to look at some of the posts, some do appear to "force" religion down ones throat, as well as some of the religious posts being disguised as regular posts, so if they were in a separate place, those that might inadvertantly run into one would be less likely to do so. Please don't kill the messenger, this is just a suggestion and in light of some of the events over the last few weeks seems necessary. Otherwise I say...Kick them all out!! LOL(Just kidding) Amen!  |

thats a very good suggestion dangergirl....i too am not offended by the posts but i do feel there are an awful lot of them. it just may chase some newbies off. anybody else??

I don't mean it to segregate "them", just the posts!  Most of the people who post religious freebies also post GREAT non-religious freebies, so I would not want any one person to feel that they do not belong. I just feel that since we have a separate section for contests, for example(because it would take up so much room and be too confusing in freebies) that religious posts might be appropriate in their own forum and those that love religious forums would be able to get at them easier and those that do not like all the religious freebies would not feel offended. I will start a poll to see what people think... |

I agree, too. While not always controversial, sometimes these posts make people uncomfortable. Everyone would feel better. It would also make it easier for those who want to participate to find the threads.
