I can't stand the sites that say they'll give you something for referring 5-10 friends to them, asking for your friend's email addresses.

First off, I wouldn't do that with my friends email addresses and expect them to still be my friends.

Secondly, if I like a company's product and service I'll be happy to refer my friends to them, but not in that manner.

Anyway, we have sort of gotten off track, but the original poster is correct on many points. Be choosy.......and I agree with the person who said go for what you really would like and don't go for things just to 'get them.' You do have to be careful about giving out your info.
