Why did you choose your avatar?

I don't know if this discussion has come up before.

I was just curious about people's avatars...some seem so obvious to me,but others,well.....

As for me,its easy to tell:I'm a dog lover. I chose mine because it looks like my dog Cody.

I also chose it because the dog is wagging his tail~which is what mine are doing most of the time!!

I have 3 dogs,all black...A pit bull/chow mix(Onyx),a belgium shepard(Jasmine),and a lab(Cody).

Anyone else care to share?

I chose mine because it is a great caricature of me. I spend SO much time on the internet, and I also work on a computer at work. My family thinks that my DOD BUTT is glued to my computer chair. Come to think of it, they may be right.............

Well......I chose mine because:

1) I LOVE CATS!!!!!!

and

2) I picked the username "lightning" because it was the name of the most wonderful cat I ever met.....and she was a black cat....that's why my avatar is not only a cat, but a black cat!!! LOL!

I picked this one out .....because I just liked this one with the colors it had....had one of Dale Jarret's race car before.......lol....but I took it off after awhile......because IT wasn't the feminine person that I am.

I chose my AV to remind myself that there is no such thing as natural beauty.....it takes a room full of people to make me look good, like a fakeup...errrr I mean makeup artist, hair stylist, fashion coordinator, camera man with ALOT of special filters LOL
But now since I spend so much time here on DOD I am really getting sick of lookin at myself so will be changing my AV soon!

I chose a Kokopelli because they are displayed everywhere here in the southwest. They even paint them on the walls of the freeways where I live! And of course I had to add a kitty to my sig. line because I'm a "Cat Person!"
