Question Anyone here have any experience with Metabolife?

I recently began using metabolife. I notice for me it really boosts my energy but am uncertain as of yet if it is helping take the extra lbs off. My problem is I gain weight because I don't eat enough so my body goes into starvation mode and stores what little fat I take in. anywho.....I was wondering if anyone has any experience at all with it *positive or negative*
I have heard from most people that it works....it's a slow process but it works. I'm hoping I can find someone who has used it with circumstances like mine who has any insight for me.

Teah i was taking Xenadrine for a few months ... just about the same thing ... it worked pretty well that is it cut down my appetite but with the Ephedrine that is in the capsules it got to the point where i was unable to get to sleep , i'd be up to 4 or 5 in the morning. Doing some research on Ephedrine i've come to the conclusion that the risks are greater than the benefits ! So my advise is if you're going to take any of these pills make sure they are Ephedrine free.

Angry

Here's a page with metabolife user's side effects...

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

Ephedra is found in Metabolife and Stacker 2 diet pills along with many more I'm sure... I took a Stacker 2 pill and had a couple Dr Peppers and my heart was racing and my throat was dry... I havent had any since...

As far as Xenadrine is concrened, they are investigating whether supplements took by Northwestern football player Rashidi Wheeler contributed to his sudden death...

My take on the whole subject is if it COULD kill you faster than AIDS, Cigarettes, Alcohol, and Steroids combined, it's best to stay away from it...

I took Xenadrine for a month and lost 10 pounds. It does wonders, but you should do two weeks on and a week off or something. Your body becomes immune to Ephedrine's effects after a while, whichis why you get cranky and all that... so just go off for a few days and you'l lstill get the same results.

Just a tip. =)

I'm currently taking Metabolife. It does wonders for my appetite ~ don't get me wrong, I still do eat ~ and boosts my energy, too. I take 2 in the morning when I get up and then 1 more around 2:00. I don't get real jittery, but I do "feel" that extra boost (after all it is natural speed). I will not take it after 4:00 pm otherwise I have trouble sleeping. This schedule is working really well for me. If you have asthma, you don't want to be taking it!!

Metabolife was great for curbing your hunger. Except I had rapid heart beats & felt like crying. Becareful if you take it.

Hmmm from what you are all saying it is a great product for making you not want to eat as much. Since I have the reverse problem...*No appetite* it probably will do nothing to help me lose those extra pounds.
I suppose the only thing I can do is train myself to eat 3 times a day rather then 0 - 2 times a day

Like chellem, I went w/ one that was less expensive as well, Metabolift. I used it mainly when I was dieting, using the Atkins as a general basis. I knew w/ less carbs I would need a boost now and then. I took 1 pill instead of the recommended 2 before each meal and then worked up to 2..then I went off of them for awhile as well because it's only natural to become immune to them. After a week- 2 weeks w/o taking them I started back up with 1 before each meal again.
I tried Diet Fuel which has the same ingredients as well, but it was also quite costly. If your problem isn't EATING like mine was (SNACKING was my worst) or lack of energy then I wouldn't suggest taking it either. MaHaung is know to curb ones cravings for the sweets also, again..I was baaaaaad there..LOL! I tool a multi-vitamin and calcium supplement also.

I currently take Metabolife, not neccesarily for weight loss, but for energy before I go to work. (I work the evening shift) But one of my co-workers has lost nearly 30 lbs on it! I personally think that nothing works like the old "Phen-Fen" for weight loss, to darn bad that they pulled it, I could weight 90 lbs. by now! LOL

Talking also...

You could go to a big city China town and stock up on some ginger and ginseng roots. Whenever you lack some energy or appetite you could boil them together and add some honey.

I tried it for one week, I got some major headaches, every day which made me nauseated which made me not eat! Didn't lose a pound. For me its not that I eat alot but what I eat was generally the wrong things and changed that and lost some weight, now its just to darn hot for me to exercise(well, that's what I keep telling myself)
