Frugal Experts' Tips Needed!

Hi everyone!

I already asked alrightmommy if this post could be posted here and she said it would be fine.....

I am compiling a huge list of frugal tips that will become a publication that I will be making available on my website. Since this site has been a valuable resource for me I thought that this would be the perfect place to ask for help.

Basically, I would like to ask you for your best frugal tip in one or more of the following areas: saving money, stretching your budget, using online auctions, smart shopping online, coupons & rebates, frugal living, budget travel, kids & money, or any other related topic like this.

In exchange for submitting your tip, I will enter your name in a contest to win a $25 Webcertificate (it will be awarded at random once enough tips have been received to write the publication) and if you submit a unique tip (one that has not already been submitted by someone else) that is ultimately published, you will receive a free copy of the publication when it is completed.

For each tip you submit, you will get one entry in the contest for the $25 Webcertificate. I'll be choosing at random the "old-fashioned way" by just writing email addresses on slips of paper and throwing them in a box until it's time to choose, so you really could have a better chance of winning if you submit more tips. I expect that the publication will be finished in August-September.

To submit a tip, click on the "Profile" button in this post to bring up my profile and click on "Click here to Email" and just enter your tip and include an email address where you would like to be contacted when the publication is finished so that you can receive your free copy with my heartfelt appreciation! I'm asking people to email from the profile in case I receive WAY too much email and need to change the address in the profile later.

If you would like to be credited with your name, or your initials in the publication next to your tip, just sign the email the way you want to be credited. If you want to be anonymous just sign it "anonymous".

I know that you guys are geniuses when it comes to these areas! I have learned so much from my visits here as a lurker and now as a "delurked" member I am learning even more!

I just wanted to post again to say that the tips that many of you have been submitting have been just wonderful! You are all so creative!
