Question from a relative newbie...

Although I signed up at Deal of Day eons ago, I only really started visiting and posting regularly a couple of weeks ago. I have a few questions (please pardon my ignorance)

1. what does it mean when someone "bumps" a message?

2. how does one go about "bumping" a message?

3. is it just me, or does it seem that everytime I reply to a post, the message is no longer on the Deal of Day main page? I'm starting to get a complex!

Hi!

Bumping simply means when a reply is made to a post...the thread of posts gets bumped to the top of the board.

Most recent replies are on the main page...they are replaced constantly as people post and reply...your reply is still in the thread...but as a new reply or new post is made...it changes the list on the main page.

For the OP.. (original poster).. if you click on the icon in the top right corner of the boards (above the search) marked FAQ (frequently asked questions) a bunch of things will probaby be answered for you.

Thanks! I am starting to get a better idea of how this all works.

The deals I have gotten have been incredible. I am going to start looking for deals that I can post, rather than just reponding to others' deals.
