I received an email from Deal Drive that I'd get $20 for taking a short survey. I read the fine print and it looked like it could be a good deal. I answered about 20 Q's -- income, what I do online, what I've bought online, etc, etc. At the end it tells me, "Sorry, you do not qualify to take the paid survey". That really burns me -- the email said NOTHING about having to qualify first, it said to click here for the link to take the paid survey. Major rip off, avoid it folks! ********************************************* Here's the email I got: You've received this message because while visiting INTELLIGENTX, you opted in to receive special online offers and discounts. ******************************************* Welcome to the Online Survey administered by DealDrive! I hate when that happens! Is there any way you can contact the sponsor to complain??? Altho, it is probably best left alone and opt for not having a stroke over it! Sorry that it happened Bunny!!!

Tiggers Lady, I decided my best revenge is to post it here and maybe then their fake paid survey won't dupe anyone else. I kinda kicked myself afterwards -- if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I am leary of giving out personal info like income -- I should've listened to my inner voice. Smart Bunny thought, "Don't do it, too good to be true!" But Dumb Bunny thought, "Eh, 20 bucks, too easy to pass up!"

Whewww, that was close. I got the same email and was just about to sign up when I got the bright idea of doing a search on the DOD forum. Thanks for the warning and saving me the aggravation, Bunny, but sorry you got scammed. |

Ggl.ggl., I got this one also. I saw the words "Upon successful completion of this survey etc.." and I thought, well there's the catch. I deleted it without even going to try and "successfully" complete it...good thing, I would have been peeved too. I only do surveys for a few places now and only because they have always done what they said they would. I've gotten duped too many times. DOD is definitely the first place I check for the bad apples. See....by Bunny starting this topic, she probably just saved some ppl a few minutes of their time and some irritation Have a good one folks
