Any of you Ohioans Ever go to Rogers Flea Market?????

We went today for the first time this summer and I was just thinking "Wow, wouldn't it be something if any of my DOD buds had been there today also???" We could have walked right past one another and not even known it!!

I love going there!! They have so much neat stuff!! I could spend the whole day there just looking!!

I live in NC now but grew up in Springfield.....In a couple of weeks they will have the largest Flea Market in Ohio..it's worth the drive if you live near there! Where is Rodgers?

Hubby does ALL the driving when we go out of town. I never pay attention!! LOL He says it is off rt 154 between Lisbon and East Liverpool! Their flea market is huge, but they only have it on Fridays'.

I wasn't there today {4-27}, but probably will be down there in the next 2-3 weeks. I get great deals on video games {one guy owns a store up near Ashtabula, and gives 30 day gurantee's }, books, computer games for DS {Fisher-Price for only $5 NEW}, and ALL kinds of "wonderful finds"!!! And pony rides!!! DS loves to ride the ponies!

Like you said, might "see" each other and not even know it...LOL!!!

I grew up very near Rogers. I can remember when the "Rogers' Sale" (as it was called then) was just 2 buildings and the "Snack Bar". I left home, went to the military, then lived in Florida for awhile. When I got back here to home, I couldn't believe how much it had grown. Now it's like 10 or 12 buildings, plus all the outside stuff(which covers about 2 acres). It's a good place to get a deal on just about anything you'd want. It's easy to find....just get to the intersection of State Routes 7 and 154 in Ohio, on a Friday, and follow the traffic!

Where in Springfield is the new flea market supposed to be? I live in Springfield, but never heard of it as of yet. I love to go to Ceasar's Creek flea markets and down by where Americana was, toward King's Island, there is a humegous flea market on both sides of the highway. Turtle Creek and I forget the other one. The are right off the main highway. it would take 2 or 3 days to go thru just one. We can get there when they open and stay till they close and not see half.

Thanks in advance. I really have not heard anything about a new flea market here.

I'm also from Springfield, I've never heard of Rogers. I'm glad to hear thier are Springfielders on this board. pretty neat!

Well the Flea Market is at the fair grounds.....I was in Springfield last week for my dad's funeral and saw it advertised again.....any of you Springfielders..North or South grads? I went to North but my mom taught at south...

I go out to Rogers a couple times a year. It must be 10 times bigger than the Hartville flea market. I always come home with a car load of bargains.

I have never went to the one in Hartville ( not too far from me)!! My hubby went once but he wasn't too impressed with it!!

Do you hit Big Lots and Value City for some good deals too? And Marc's, I seem to find some cool deals at Marc's especially on small toys for my DS...of course we have a Marc's here in Salem now, so I usually don't go to the Alliance one anymore.

And {SOME day} we are supposed to be getting a Wal-Mart, too. {{{Personally, I would rather have a Target store in Salem...closest one's I found are in Stow, Niles, and Canton...I don't like driving in Canton, so haven't been to that one YET! }}} I say some day, because it's been put off a bazillion times now...but they supposedly actually bought the property THIS time. Rumor has it that it will be a Supercenter??? Flash's parents both work at the Alliance Wal-Mart, as greeters, and they heard at work that the Salem Wal-Mart will be being built soon...I guess I'll just have to wait and see... Oh yeah, if you go to Alliance Wal-Mart in the evenings about 5-11pm, you may have been greeted by Flash's parents!!!
