Question

me and ivan argue over which is better pepsi or coke...and of course i say pepsi...but he says coke...which makes me wonder....which everyone prefers???? diet pepsi or diet coke??

I used to have to have a mountain dew before i could function properly...but have given that up (and sticking to it)

Ive even grown very fond of 7 up .... but try to stay within my limits of how much i allow myself

I can't believe you left off Dr. Pepper either!

Shame! Shame!

Oh well, Coke is my preferred substitute. And I CAN tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi. Pepsi is too sweet for my taste. Not enough carbonation or something...lol.

You guys! Be careful with the caffeine in the drinks!!! My new cardiologist told me that there is a strange happening with women my age (around age 30)...they are getting serious heart conditions and having heart attacks...one study is linking it to Pepsi and Diet Pepsi drinkers. But it is the caffeine, not the sugar or sugar subs. Caffeine causes your arteries to spasm and close and this chokes your heart of needed blood...they open and close over and over from the caffeine.

I am telling you guys this because I was the biggest diet pepsi addict you have ever seen!!!! I could drink a case a day, no problem. I would not eat and just drink diet pepsi when I was dieting. BIG mistake!!! Be careful!!!

That said, I am trying to get used to diet pepsi caffeine free....not the same...and I miss my diet pepsi but I look at it now as some kind of poison...it was for me!

Ok, now to be silly...

Lisa...
Where is the Dr.Pepper??? LOL I used to love that stuff too!!!!

eeeeeeek!! Cindy! You overdid it with the stuff. hmm, I didn't know that about caffeine. thanks for the info. very surprising. Maybe THAT'S why when I once took Vivarin I thought I was going to die. It was horrible.

I rarely drink soda (maybe a child-sized serving 12 oz. a week) and drink coffee even less.

Diet Coke, Caffeine Free, for me! Used to drink Pepsi ALL the time, but when I decided to go to a diet, I could not stand D. Pepsi!

Switched to caffeine free about two yrs. ago.

I haven't had any in the past 6 months! All I seem to drink is water, water and more water and very rarely an iced tea(no sugar, no lemon).

Pretty boring, but I can't say I miss it at all.
