Apple Cider Vinegar Capsules

Has anyone ever used Apple Cider Vinegar capsules to lose weight? I've been seeing all the advertisements but wonder if it really works?

For weight loss? I am not sure?? But I do know one thing, the capsules are not as good as just taking a teaspoon or two of liquid vinegar! I have been doing that for a while and I have a lot more energy than I used to.

You are supposed to get the vinegar with the "mother" in it...is more effective, I haven't gotten this yet, still using the grocery store type (Heinz).

That's funny! I just heard of these capsules yesterday. My wife's aunt has lost 30 lbs using these at the recommendation of a friend of hers that has used these and lost over 100 lbs in 7 months. We are going to give them a shot..

I was wondering about these capsules myself. I saw an advertisement in my first free issue of Woman's Day magazine Saturday. Says "Capsules gently eliminate toxins and excess weight, each day you'll feel better, more energized and lose weight." It says these are pretty much a replacement for DRINKING (Cindy) because of the taste of liquid Apple Cider Vinegar...hmmm..might just try that instead..lol!
I ordered this other kind of weight loss pill (NOT anything to do w/ Apple Cider Ving.), much more than these and they didn't do squat..lol.

Yep, it tastes bad, awful in fact, but I am kinda used to it now. I just think apple, apple, it is apples! LOL
Would love to take the pills if they do the same thing as the liquid, just not so sure...hhmmmm...maybe I will try them for a few weeks and see if I get the same results.
Also, I thought a 50 cent bottle was way cheaper than buying the pills, so, any way you look at it, this is a great thing to do, and it certainly can't hurt!

Ok...Kenny doesn't even know this, but I couldn't bring myself to spend the $ on the pills..I did however go to the store tonight and..and..bought a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar!! I haven't taken that first delightful spoonful tho...lol. I wanted to look at that advertisement more and try to figure out how much liquid vinegar would be equivalent to the capsules..lol..sounds like an intelligent reason huh? LOL!

i just wanted to let everyone know. I have been doing some research for about a year now. on acv.. my dad had a stoke last year and we found out his blood sugar was close to 320.. normal is 85-110.. I am totaly against doctors i had so many bad experiances. I started giving my dad the applecider vinger pills from gnc. it had the mother and chyne _forgot how to spell that please forgive me) I did this with out telling the doctors, at the time he was in the hospital they were giving him insulin shots to bring his sugar down.. and another drug by mouth. after a few days the shots stopped, then they took him off the blood pressure med. after 3 months we took him home and they gave him some blood pressure med. and another pill to lower his sugar.. its been 7 to 8 months pills are still unopened.. this is what i give him. 1 pill per meal, he also gets a garlic pill each meal. garlic inhightins the red blood cells. also kills any virus's... so in all this my dad sugar is normal. i grew up with him eating head ache meds.. he has not had one since.. my dad was 300 pound 5"11 man. he is steady at 215 now...

i am 259 lb (just weighed) still 6'1 thoe lol.. and i only take the pill form 1 a day im planning on increasing it to 2 times a day and see what happens. but i notcied my fat is disapearing.. and i see mucle now. i use to work out alot when i was younger and was just big and round. now i see the definition.

last one for ya guys.. i really hope you guys give this a try. it can make ur life so much better.

i use to live in an apartment building.. there was a guy we knew for years lived downstairs. I told him about the apple cider ving. pills.. he said cmonnn that is abunch of hooo eeeee.. lol old people so i bought him a bottle and told him just try it for me please... he was a diabetic also.. he was loosing his feeling in his feet. and his sight.. he was one of those guys that said if im going to die im going to die.. but he was very nice person.. he wouldnt take his diabetic meds from the doc.. he went every week to the doc and they checked his sugar always in the 200's .. he goes screw it i dont car im an old man... (hard headed italian) anyway.. he took the acv 3 times a day for 2 months. i called him up in march to see how he was doing.. he said omg son your a life saver. i been taking the pills 3 times a day everyday.. my sugar is normal now.. I just starting drinking APple Cider Vinegar a couple of times a day. I started yesterday, so I haven't noticed any weight loss yet. I am keeping my fingers crossed!!! The reason that I began taking it is because it really does help my acid reflux. I have been mixing it with Apple juice, and then it tastes like regular apple cider.

Just Curious....to the people who have lost weight by taking Apple Cider Vinegar....how much weight did you lose? Also, did you start off an average weight, or were you overweight?? I ask the latter question only because it seems that people who have a lot of weight to lose usually seem to have an easier time getting the first few pounds off. Thanks.

ajbianchi and ddieringer, you might want to start a new thread, I am not sure how many responses you are going to get, as this one is very old, from 2001 and most of these users, aren't even here anymore.



Hope you do get some answers or feedback, though.
