Since my post was deleted in Affiliate Spam Central (in "response" to the other thread) I figured I'd post it over here. If you are interested in learning more about the scam (or you want to check up on what I say, to make sure that I'm not lying) you can go to the ASC forum and use the click-thru link that is provided. The post is under the name of "che-ching"

Now, when I took business law in HS, I had to do a project on a lawsuit - I chose to do it on the Ponzi Scam. This is a famous scam that continues to rope people in even today - it promises that with a little money invested, you will turn into millionaires very quickly. Perhaps you heard of the Albanian riots they had a few years ago? Although it was referred to by it's nickname - a pyramid scheme - it was the same thing.

Basically, here is how it works - you send me five dollars b/c my name is on the top of the list, and your name is placed on the bottom of the list. After 10 or so more people send in the money, my name moves off the top of the list and everyone is "bumped" up one closer to the top. (Since we are all experienced Dod's, I assume everyone knows what I mean by the word bump!) After this happens ten more times, you are at the top of the list. Now, by this time, there are other lists that are linked to the one that you are on (think linked databases) and by the time you start receiving money, it comes by the barrelfull.
Sounds good, right??? WRONG!!!! It has been mathematically proven that the scam will only work for the first seven rotations - after that, THE WHOLE ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE WORLD would have been involved in the scam and there would be no one else to pay the OVER 6 BILLION people involved. Now, that is why it is a scam - they promise you lots of money, but unless you get in early, will just lose your investment.

For the fun part - GO! Do some homework on what I say! Go to any search engine and type in "Ponzi scam" or just the word Ponzi. It will bring up webpage after webpage full of info on the successful lawsuit brought against Mr. Ponzi by the US government.

Please, for your safety, stay away from anything of this kind. There are many types of scams out there - if you ever need to know whether something is illegal (if you ever get those emails that promise 78,000 dollars from just 10 dollars - all those are scams.) pleaseeee email me - I will take the time to scour the web for you and look to find out whether it is a scam or not - and if it is, then we will have fun shutting these places down (I feel that the people who engage in those are scum and deserve to be put in jail - no one should be able to take away the money that you have worked to hard to earn.)

My email is: tschmitt98@yahoo - I check this every day.

Thanks for the heads up!

Sounds like you have really done some research on this. I always go by the old adage...if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Works for me everytime...lol
Thanks for all the extra info on this. These types of scams make me mad too!
