My family needs your prayers

My brother died this morning. He was only 36 years old. He was having some very bad problems with his back and was scheduled for surgery this coming Monday. He developed blood clots in his lungs and one moved to his heart and killed him. This is so unexpected and we are all shocked. My parents are 72 and 80 and they are taking this really hard. Also his wife and daugters (ages 6 and 10) are devastated as well. My sister, my other brother and I are all very hurt, too, but I especially ask for prayer for my parents and his wife and daughters. I know it is never easy to give up someone you love, but when it is so unexpected like this, it's difficult to comprehend. I know that many of you are Christians and understand when I ask for you to pray for my family, and I know that you will. You are my friends, and I appreciate your support.

Also, I will be away for a few days as they live about a six hour drive from here. I will miss you all, and will be back at the end of the week.

I know this is very hard on your whole family. Some of my worst memories are of sudden deaths. I will keep your family in my prayers, especially your brothers wife, kids, and parents (whom I am sure expected their son to outlive them). So often things happen that we cannot understand. It tests our faith.
