Herb garden help!

Hi everyone. I’m getting into a little herb garden, as I’ve heard that planting and growing veggies yourself saves loads of money over time.

But I’ve been having trouble finding the right kinds of tools and supplies. I live in a small suburb, but I’ve spent so much money and time trawling through the phone books and directory assistance for supply shops.

I’m afraid to go to grocery stores for seeds and things, because those things there are full of pesticides and preservatives (right?). What should I do? I’m on a fixed income and am on something of a saving spree.

Ah don’t listen to media fear-mongers! You’ll find whatever you need for beginner’s gardening at a grocery or local general store. Assuming general stores even exist anymore, hehehe .

And how are you still even spending on directory assistance when services like 800free411 exist? Carriers are such bloodsuckers sometimes you wonder why we even put up with it all.

Re: Herb garden help!

I get my seeds online from more than one seed calalong but even Wallyworld carries organic seeds. They herb and vegetable seeds.rareseeds.com, abundantlifeseeds.com and territorialseed.com are some of my favorite seed calalogs.
