Just so everyone knows...I dont know what forum to put this in though.
(January 2, 2007) — Most federal offices and the U.S. Postal Service will be closed today during a national day of mourning for former President Gerald Ford.
Although the post office is closed, Express Mail deliveries will be made today. Regular retail and delivery service will resume tomorrow.
Most U.S. financial markets, including the New York Stock Exchange, the Nasdaq Stock Market and the American Stock Exchange, will not conduct operations today.
State offices, however, will remain open today. Gov. Eliot Spitzer said Ford will be honored with a statewide moment of silence at 10 a.m., during the state funeral in Washington.
