Well, I'm here for you, Kat! I just arrived from a shopping spree at jcpenney.com, where I got a blender, coffee-maker, food chopper and toaster, each for $12.49 and each with a $10 rebate! So that comes to less than $10 (plus s&h) for 4 small appliances! I'll keep a couple for when my own items wear out, and keep a couple for gifts. I also got a Waring Juicer from Amazon (one of their used and new items), normally $100, but mine was $24.41, because it was a store model. It still has the 90 day warranty. So I'm feeling flush with victory! LOL!

I do have New Years Resolutions, but since I posted it, I'm not going first, LOL. Mine are actually written in a slightly different form. Will post after awhile.... Other question, do you make them and then not keep them?

I do not make New Years Resolutions when I get ready to make a change I make what I call a life Resolution and change my life right then I don't wait until a certain time to do it.

If I had kept my N.Y.'s resolutions in the past, I would be thin, toned, and rich! Instead, however, I'm chubby, "squishy" and paying off my credit cards. But I just keep making those same resolutions... (sigh). Maybe THIS time I'll keep them!

The one resolution I've kept is to become more organized. Now I'm an expert at keeping track of things, such as what junk food I eat, how I waste my time (rather than exercising), and what I spend my money on. sigh....

I don't usually make resolutions, but this year I swear I'm going to get my closets more organized. And our neighbors just had a wonderful garage cabinet system installed I think after taking a look, my DH was inspired and may do the same but on a smaller scale. Hoping for a well-organized 2007 !!

Here's mine, but it's kinda different...

My New Years Resolutions ~ 2007

So, you say you wanna a resolution?
I can give you a few.
I'm volunteering this year with a smile,
And I'll do it again next year.

With my hip worn down to nothing,
cane in hand I pack grocery bags.
At the little food pantry in town,
where I see all the familiar faces.

Then I'll get down to Human Services,
while sittin' down is the way I can do it.
I'll hang clothing for the free clothing room,
that helps people all over town, don't cha know?

Point is, I'll be worse, but I'm trying here,
And I'm gonna do it all next year.
And if I can stand the next day,
I might even help out at the soup kitchen.

By next year, it's gonna to be harder to stand,
thing is, I'm gonna do it, first at the food pantry,
but no wheel chair for me, ya know,
I can't volunteer there sittin' down.

I'm called The Soap Lady at another pantry,
that's got food, but d'you believe it?
They've got no soap, and I make it,
so I'll keep doin' that and droppin' it off, every week.

That's my 2007 resolution, people,
I'm gonna keep-on-keepin' on.
No matter how much worse it hurts,
and it hurts worse every day.

But I've met this year through volunteering,
lots who've got it so much worse.
So, you said you wanna resolution,
this is mine, and I will do it.
