As Seen on TV products - got 'em?

Anyone have a Furemover rubber broom, aka One Sweep Rubber Broom or Sweepa? This is the greatest invention since the wheel. I got mine at Ace Hardware for $9.99 - it's amazing because I have an entire house, porch, and patio full of Mexican Saltillo (clay) tile and using it wet it picks up better than my super doooper Hoover Windtunnel. The best part is it uses no electricity! It's supposed to work just as well on carpet, I know a few people who use it on theirs... but on tile it's like awesome!

I also bought a Lint Wizard off eBay and it's wonderful on furniture for removing short stiff chihuahua hairs. Never needs refills... also an item "As Seen on TV". I Furminator or Shedender him daily and he just is a short hair shedder - otherwise healthy, but sheds like crazy. Today he is 1.

Re: As Seen on TV products - got 'em?

I have a few, one that I got, was similar to the One Sweep, but very inferior, the first one I bought broke right away, and then when I returned it for another, that one broke a month or so later, very disappointing, so I might have to try the one you mentioned. The one I got came with a carpet rake, so it gets down in and pulls the fur out, works great, but like I said, the handle broke right away, so a pain!!

Re: As Seen on TV products - got 'em?

Oh goodie, another products review thread!

I recently celebrated a birthday that was higher than 40 (I won't say how much higher, lol!). So I just ordered the Facial Flex and the Carole Maggio program, and both of them are supposed to be good for exercising the facial muscles so that you can put off having a face lift (which I could never afford, anyway!). I'm going to take "before" photos and start the exercises this weekend, then I'll let you know how things go in 10 days or so. Wish me luck!

Anyone have the Bullet blender thing? I really want it, but the price seems a bit steep for a blender. I hear it is great though.

i've personally heard awful reviews about the bullet blender...from people i know as well as online reviews. also if you watch the infomercial closley you can see that it does not chop things up evenly at all. i suppose it just depends on what people are looking for.

Re: As Seen on TV products - got 'em?

I'm looking for the bullet to make fruit shakes. Seems pretty expensive for mixing a banana and juice together when I could just eat the banana and have a glass of juice for free. What appealed to me was how easy it is to clean.

Re: As Seen on TV products - got 'em?

I have the shedender and it works fantastic. I love my rubber broom but I do know some of them are being sold with 3 poles you insert into one another. That seems a bit unstable to me. Mine is one pole that extends to 5 feet.

Re: As Seen on TV products - got 'em?

I have the Magic Bullet and it works great for what I got it for - individual protein shakes - my favorite is a little water, a scoop of GNC unflavored high protein powder and a few frozen strawberries. Yum. Very fast and easy clean up. (Got this at WalMart.)

I also have the Swivel Sweeper, and it is pretty good for those quick touch ups between vacuuming. (Got this at Fred Meyer.)

The Glass Wizard works good for me because it allows me to reach higher areas that I couldn't reach before, and the lint factor is minimal. (Got this at Frye's.)

The Furminator ... would be great for a dog or cat that has a heavy undercoat. My dog is a shedder, but doesn't have a heavy undercoat. I can see that it would work great, just not with my little Yorkie. I'm going to give it to a friend who has a heavy-coated cat. (Got this at hsn.com, I think.)

Re: As Seen on TV products - got 'em?

Yes, my Chico is a shorthair, but he has a very thick coat and an excessive shedding undercoat. I use the furminator or shedender on him almost every day. The good thing about his coat is he never gets cold! lol

I'm looking for the Magic Bullet mostly for protein shakes, so that's good news. How much is it at Walmart?

Check out this new site ASOTVI at asotv.info. It shows "as seen on tv" products being tested via video. It is really cool. Let me know what you think---they are always adding new products!

Nope, I don't have products bought from tv.
I don't trust all of them.
