Do yall reuse your dryer sheets???

I was just wondering who else reuses the dryer sheets ...The last time I got some I bought a big box of bounce at Sams Wholesale and I noticed each time I was taking one out of the dryer it still had a strong smell....so I said why do I keep throwing these away...now I can use one sheet for atleast 3 loads I also use fabric softener in my wash so maybe thats why the sheets last so long ....

I just put vinegar in a Downey ball and put it in the washer.

I use mine a couple of times usually They are expensive and you can get at least two loads out of them, more depending on what you are doing

Hi,
If you add 1/2 cup of Baking Soda to your final rinse, you will not need any other fabric softener. Inexpensive as heck too.

Didn't know that. I sometimes use liquid and sometimes sheets. I sometimes use the sheets more than once

Re: Do yall reuse your dryer sheets???

LOL! I can't use the stuff, as the fragrances they put into them give me hives and make me choke - great reason to use baking soda!

Re: Do yall reuse your dryer sheets???

I use the dryer sheets, usually bounce, but only once each. Mr. Picky DH likes his clothes to smell fresh, and if I reuse them or use anything else that doesn't leave them as soft and nice smelling, he notices right away and complains.

Has anyone tried the new Tide scents yet? I had one with the Rose and whatever else the combo was, a sample I had gotten from a sign up on here, and I made the mistake of using it for his clothes, took awhile before he shut up about that one. He claimed it smelled like pee and told me to never use it for his clothes again.

Augh! I should have known better.

Re: Do yall reuse your dryer sheets???

I can't use final touch, makes me sneeze, but I do love Downy & Snuggle, I like tons of fragrance in my laundry... but yes I do reuse my sheets, we have a lot of hardwood floors in this house & they are great for cleaning corners & along the trim of the floors... sort of like a mini-swiffer!

Re: Do yall reuse your dryer sheets???

Yep, I do reuse dryer sheets. I use them to "CLEAN OUT THE LINT TRAP!"
I'm so afraid of the lint trap starting a fire. We live in a mobile home....so if a fire starts....it's most likely "Game Over". When I first heard of this I thought it was a myth. But no.......it does work. Instead of scraping/banging/rubbing/blowing....etc on the lint trap, take the old dryer sheet and rub it in the trap, and presto!, clean lint trap! Now ya'll will never guess where I got this idea from.

For the answer...........scroll down.

Re: Do yall reuse your dryer sheets???

I haven't used dryer sheets since last winter. I will have to start soon bc of our wood stove. I love the heat, but I hate the static. Nothing like getting shocked constantly and my hair Usually every winter we go thru this so I have to break down and buy them.

Chatter box Re: Do yall reuse your dryer sheets???

Nope ~ the few times I tried dryer sheets, they streaked and stained my laundry.

So I stick to liquid fabric softener, and am very pleased with the results.
