As the World Turns fans, Benjamin Henderickson has died

I wonder too, because he was such a strong character, I hope that they do an episode, explaining his death, maybe that will make the watchers concerned more about suicide. I just cried and cried when he was hugging his son Will. He was trained in the theater according to the reports. It was just so sad. I hope they focus the tribute on depression. I think that he had suffered from that for a long time. Just won't be the same on the show. But, of anything I watch on TV it is a constant and I look forward to it every weekday.

I don't watch the show, but this one has been on for many, many years as I remember my own Mom watching it. Funny, the memories things like this bring back.
It "is" hard taking care of parents who are ill, but it had to have been more - I took care of both my parents when they were sick, right up to their deaths and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Sure, it was hard, but it would've been much harder if I hadn't been there for them.
Depression... probably. You never really know what's going on in another persons life, unfortunately, many times till it's too late.

Do you guys know why they killed off Jennifer? I loved watching her on the show, she was one of my fav characters.

I haven't been keeping up with ATWT much but how did Jennifer die? I knew she was in the hospital but don't know how she got there.

Well the actress that played her was going to leave, so they gave her a quick case of pneumonia and then the rare infection that comes after that. Was so sad. They did drag it out for the whole week which made it even worse. And that adorable kid that plays the baby Johnny, he was in the whole thing. I don't watch many soaps only that one because I can miss it for a year and still catch up in a day. I hate sad shows.

Oh, he's gorgeous! I mean, handsome (don't tell him I called him gorgeous, I think they understand everything we say; ours sure do anyways!). He's got the "brightest eyes". And they're not spoiled, just well-loved
