Speaking of walking in doggie wonderland... We have a mall here in Orange County, a very upscale mall with Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, etc where dogs are allowed. Its so entertaining to my hubbie and I! We take our wonderul, gentle, lovable, scruffian of a dog...(Mixed breed we saved from the pound) along. She rides in the basket under our baby stoller while our DD sits up waving at everyone! I love to see the expressions on the uptight LA'ers faces when the are walking thier well-groomed frufru dogs on leashes through Macy's and they see us. Needless to say, the dog and the baby get tons of attention! Its so much fun. We went yesterday and there was a very talented violinist playing... we had lunch outside... only in Southern Cal can you do this in Dec! I might add that this mall is typical ini everyway except much of it has no roof! Another Socal thing! It's lovely at night too. All the palm trees are lit up for the holidays. Anyway-- thought I'd add my 2cents. |
