Yes it is... only 4% humidity and I think the dewpoints aren't near monsoon level yet. We had a bit of virga into the pool and a bit of wind then the temp dropped to 109. LOL

oooohhhh .... Dry heat, any heat.... that is way to much for me

The humidity is like 100 here and my sinuses are killing me...Thank god the temp. is not that high

Very few people lived here before a/c. Early evening yesterday we were hit with a monsoon. Lots of damaging winds, dust (desert) storm, a bit of lighting, but no rain yet. Parts of the valley did get rain, but not me.

I've been so busy with work (I work out my home doing research, writing, editing, etc) and with taking care of the neighbor's dogs (3 large dogs all rottie size) and stuff around their house for 2 weeks, that I haven't had time to think about the heat. I'm keeping the house cool so I can manage what I have to do outside. Yes, you do sweat up to a gallon of water per hour here. So, you need to be very cautious. I can handle the heat, but the sun is brutal. Thank goodness for the warm pool. lol
