Big grin Major Life Changes, Just Wanted To Share My Happiness:)
Well, the past 2 years have been crazy for me...
I moved to Florida a year ago....things got even crazier lol
So finally things are calming down and life is getting clear.
I found out recently that I am going to be made a Grandma this year! WOOHOO, my first Grandbaby!
So I decided to move back to Rhode Island to be close to my daughter through her pregnancy and also to see every moment of my Grandbaby's early years....
Then I got to thinkin, how am I going to witness every little moment...
So I decided to make my first MAJOR purchase ever and bought a 2 family house so I can have my daughter and her family close by, and I will be right there should she ever have questions, concerns or just wants her mom
I am so very excited...Buying a home for the first time, my first Grandbaby on the way! (She goes for the ultrasound tomorrow and hopefully we found out if it's a boy or girl!)
And although I am leaving Florida, the place I was sure I always wanted to live, I don't regret one moment of it. I am forever changed for my experiences there...the good and bad. I am a better happier person and I now know that Florida may be where I love to visit, but home is wherever my family is.

Ohhhhhh...what a WONDERFUL and such touching thing to WANT to do for your daughter and family. I really can't express in words how TRULY touched I am. What a great love to feel to WANT to do this.

Teah, you made me cry because I'm so happy for you. I don't think you will regret this move one bit. I really don't think there's anything better than having family close by. My mom lives a distance away, but we are in constant communication. She lost her mom when she was just 17 and I know that still haunts her. I do my best to make sure she knows how much I love her and appreciate all the wonderful things she does for me. I'm sure your daughter feels the same way. Congratulations on the grandbaby!

I am using my 1000th post to #1 thank everyone for your congrats, kind words and well wishes and also to say, she had the ultrasound and I just got off the phone with her....IT'S A BOY!!!! WOOHOO
She's scanning me the pictures from the ultrasound when she gets home.
