House on the market Monday
Our house will be listed on Monday-we have been working like crazy getting it ready-stained the deck, painted inside garage-the walls are sheetrock, finished putting polyurithane (sp?) on some trim, cleaning out clutter, mowed the lawn-we have a huge yard, and lots of little things...it would be nice to sell it fast so I don't have to be ready for buyers to drop in for the next few months. If it doesn't sell by fall we will take it off the market until springtime.

6 months is the average a house stays on the market. Of course, there are those that sell within a week and those that are perpetually for sale. Here's to your's being the former rather than the latter.

I was fortunate that mine sold in three weeks and I never had an open house. It was all by appointment because open houses just bring nosey neighbors and tire kickers! Good luck with yours.

We have a bunch of realtors coming through tomorrow-it's a multiple listing, so...hopefully after that we will have people looking.

Here too. The neighbors house sold last week for over 350 thousand--- in 4 days.

Same here our houses sell usually before the sign even hits the yard. I just got a new neighbor last week, single woman mid 30's I would guess. First impression, very business like to the point I would say almost cold. But I am hoping that it is just the stress of moving and she will fit into the neighborhood.
