Well we have a queen size bed, doesn't help that hubby is over 6 feet tall and cough about 220 lbs. I am almost half his weight, but we both have 34 inch long legs. I have looked at king size beds but they are so huge! The only good thing is when he left I kicked the dog out of the bed too, so now there is more room. Hated sleeping with his stupid dog, in the middle of the night the cat would get pissy and start slapping the dog, the dog would snap at her. It was just such a pleasant way to be jolted awake. NOT! And i keep hinting to my DS..."umm don't you want to go visit your sister for the 4th?" He isn't taking the hint..."nah the city will be a madhouse." UGH!!!

LOL Tell ds "You are going to visit ya sister" Lie and tell him she needs some help with something or other around her house and only he is capable of doing it LOL

BTW maybe he can take the dog and cat with him

Adventures of picking up DH! I decided to leave early so i could wait in the terminal for him. I left about an hour early. Well I hit so many traffic jams which surprised me because it was so late at night. The ride there was interesting I got to see numerous firework displays and I also had a truck driver who was quite interested in me. He kept pulling up along side me and waving, a few times he beeped, in bumper to bumper traffic this was not a good time. I was actually glad when the highway split so that cars one went to oneside, trucks the other. DH's plane didn't land until 10:30PM. I arrived at the airport at 11:15 PM, here i thought I would get there early. ARGGH! He was so happy he looked like a little boy standing there on the curbside. What was funny was I pulled up and DH opens the car door and goes "you couldn't have timed that better, i have been waiting only 15 min!" By the time we got home, he had to greet each of the animals, talk with DS, we didn't go to bed until 4 am. And then he only slept like 3 hours, I was still asleep, but I am so unused to all the noise another person can make that he woke me when he got up, he woke me again shutting and opening the front door, climbing the stairs, then again when he took a shower, then when he decided to cook something. I finally gave up and got up, getting like 5 hours of sleep, truthfully wanting to kill him! Do all men wear concrete shoes? LORDY! And can't they turn a knob to shut door, do they have to slam it shut! But he is home, noisy and happy. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! I am so glad this over. Now time to readjust! Happy 4th!!!!!

LOL about the concrete shoes.....my DH works a 24 hr shift, then 48 off.....so I get a break from those every third day! (and the snoring)

I never realized how noisy our front storm door is when it is shutting. Guess because NO ONE goes in and out at 6 freakin AM!!! He isn't having an easy time adjusting to time difference this time. He got like 4 hours sleep last night. When it is 6 am here, in south korea it was 7 PM. He will eventually adjust, but will I? Oh and it isn't helping that throughout the night the dogs keep coming in the room and checking to make sure he is still there. I finally got up and shut the door. But I managed to get my 8 hours!

Oh I can imagine the time difference. I had bad jet lag with just the three hour time difference I had to deal with.

So glad to hear he's home! But I sure do understand those concrete shoes. Husband can sleep through a parade going through the bedroom so he can't understand why a "little" noise wakes me!

OMG!! I can't believe I just woke up!!! It's 12:30 PM!! The look on my face when I saw my clock. rofl Hubby left at 4 am to go somewhere, (yes he woke me up being his "quiet" self and it took me forever to go back to sleep), and I guess I haven't been going into deep sleep. Wish I could say I feel refreshed but I feel I feel so groggy.
