ARGH! Need some tech/website help please.

I like playing games on gamesville.com.

But for a week or so I haven't been able to play their games on my desktop computer - but I can play them on my laptop.

I can get to the front page. From there you click on the game you want to play and it takes you to another page. From that page you click on "Play" then the java window pops up. It's that second page that I can't get to, so I don't think it could be a java problem.

I tried clicking on various games, and I get a "page cannot display" window instead.

I ran 2 spyware programs and cleaned all that stuff up. I did a "gamesville" search in my files and folders and erased any temp/cookie files from there.

What else could it be? It's driving me bonkers.

If it's Java, go to Starbucks for help.

In your browser go to tools, options, and then click on the advanced tab. Scroll down to where it says Microsoft VM and make sure that all of the JAVA boxes are checked (you may have to restart). See if that helps. I had the same issue trying to get some games to play on MSN. At some point, I actually had to download the java software, which is free here [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]
but see if the other things works and then download if you have to. Hope I helped!
