Guess what I rescued. ***Pics Added!
My daughter and I rescued 2 baby kittens. Their mom got hit by a car. They were stuck up in the insulation of an old house. My daughter and her uncle went in and got them. I held up the skirting and gave a girly scream when I felt a huge spider crawl across my hand. I screamed again while passing them a 2x4 and my fingers squingeed a slug. Ugghghghghg. And here my fearless 14 yo crawled right under the house!!!!

They were 3 weeks old when we got them. I had to go get a baby bottle and kitten formula, isn't that cute??? Talk about fulfilling some nurturing feelings. They are 4 weeks old now, and are suddenly wanting to eat all the time, so I gave them a bit of wet cat food. First they tried to suck on it, but them they got the idea and bit it. They are growing so fast.

There is a boy and a girl. The boy actually saved the girls life, because it was his cries that let us know he was there. The girl has the teeniest squeakiest cry. The boy is all white, with two black ears, and a completely black tail, from beginning to end. He also has two black "cow" like spots. We call him Calvin.

The girl is all black with a teeny white stripe on her nose, and a white tummy, and teeny white slippers on each foot. She has these long pure white hairs that grow out of her coat that you can only see in certain light. She has the most delicate little face, and funny spunky cuddly personality. We call her Ruby.

They both are such lovers! They were alone for about 4 days. When they go asleep the boy has to find his sister and wrap his arms around her, sooo cute!

My husband is NOT a cat person, so we have to find homes for them. That was his agreement in letting us rescue them. He wants to make sure we find a good home for each of them though. I know the kids and I will be getting attached, so I try to remind them each day to pray for a good home for these kittens. It will be hard when the time comes, but very rewarding at the same time.

Aww....I'm so glad you rescued them and took care of them...who knows what would have become of them otherwise?

AWWWWW How Sweet. I am not sure I would be able to give them up. My son is allergic though. Although we do have a cat. He lives out in the workshed and loves it. I get to play and love him everyday. Didn't know son was allergic till we got bobby.

That white and black one is just too weird. It looks like its tail is a transplant! Strangely enough (though I don't like cats in general) the little gray one is cute! My wife would go nuts over it!
