Mothers Day......In memory

I know everyone knows Sunday is Mothers Day. This will be my first one without my precious mom. If it wouldn't break my boys heart I would love to skip that day. I always called mommy every md morning and told her hmd and that I love you. Shewwwwwwww going to be so hard to get thru. Ok before I get all upset and cry, I will get to my point. I think it would be good to do a in memory for all our moms that have went on to be with the Lord.

This picture was taken on our last outing for mom. we took her and my step dad to the golden corral. This is the picture I took when she first realized we were there waiting on her. I drove her up there and had a time not telling her, but it was worth the wait. All of my sisters didn't make it but it was there loss, mommy loved it. Gosh I miss her.

I feel for you! The first year is definitely the hardest. I lost my incredible mom 3-1/2 years ago, and I still fight the urge to pick up the phone - out of habit of calling her so many times a week. I miss her so much.

Sorry to hear of your losses guys, unfortunately for me, I wouldn't know which date to put on here, the one she abandoned me or when she actually died? Many years apart, trust me.

I understand what you are going through. Now that my mom is gone I really don't want to do much on Mother's Day. I live a block away from the house I grew up in and used to see her almost every day. I really miss her.

Fortunately for me, my mom is still with me. However, my MIL died 2 years ago. My girls still have a hard time as does my husband.
