Have to show off my bird bath.
I went to a local nursery yesterday to look around. We recently put in a rock garden so I've slowly been adding plants and other things. I've been looking for a bird bath, but haven't found one I really liked.

Well there was one at the nursery I LOVED. But it was $149. Yikes. I told my mom about it, so today we met at the nursery to look around. We looked at the birdbath again. It looked like it had been there a while - it was dirty and had cobwebs. My mom got a sales person and asked if they would discount it. (I can't do things like that, I'm too timid). They ended up reducing it for $50! I didn't want to act too excited, but I was jumping up and down inside. I just looked at it a little more and said "Sure, we'll take it."

I couldn't believe it! Guess I should take my mom with me all the time. haha Funny how the thing that embarrasses me about her actually saved me $100!

So I wanted to show it off.

I love the frogs also. I dunno why, but my boys seem to pick out things for me (for the yard) that mostly have frogs in the theme. Last week they gave me 2 lawn ornaments, one is a frog sitting (position) w/ a (I think) a Lily pad on his head (put bird feed in it) and the other is just a large ceramic sitting toad. Don't get me wrong...I love them...not so much because they are frog theme, but because they came from my kiddos. Hmmmmm....maybe it's one of their earliest memories of mom chasing down critters with them...LOL!
