You get better after the first couple times getting a ticket..after the first couple tickets you get better in overcoming your fear...I think after the third time I was getting to be a pro Of course it is important to not get them to close together ..When your 18-20 y/o you think that accidents won't happen. I see tons of speeders flying past on the expressways..I admit that Im usually going 65-70 in the 55-65 zones..you get out in the left lanes you better go 75+ or you are going to get flashing lights, hit in the bumper or the friendly finger gestures.

That's good...I had a cop who pulled me over, and asked "So where you going speedy? " I was trying to see how fast I could make it up to Northern Wisconsin in the shortest amount of time-It was like 2 a.m. had my radar detector on...but was coming down a hill-so even after I hit the brakes still was clocked going 67 in 55 zone..could swear I was going 80-85 Yikes!
I was still proud that I made it in 6 hours.

I've been pulled over a few times but no tickets yet. The last time was about 3 years ago and I REALLY deserved a ticket but got a warning-I was going 65 in a 55 and didn't have my driver's license. Was I praying! I have slowed down since that time.

Not me, thank goodness, but dh has been. He was doing 75 in a 55. Me and his brother tried to warn him, but you know men he didnt hear us. So he had to pay a big fine. We was on our way home from being gone all week at dh and bil's job. So dh was in hurry. He thinks twice now. LOL
