What type/ size of bed do you have?

We have a queen that we got a couple years ago. I would like a king but our room would seem crowded if we did. I like snuggling, but then there are times I need my own space. Is that just what happens after almost 16 years of marriage? There was a time my husband and I actually shared a twin!!! ROFL

Re: What type/ size of bed do you have?

Well I just bought a new memory foam bed. Its full size. Haven't had a new bed in over 20 years. Figured it was time. Hubby and I had thought of a bigger bed but decided no.

Wow, you share a full size?

We have a King - Select Comfort (air) bed. I sleep stretched out. Even when we had a queen we'd kick eachother all night.

Re: What type/ size of bed do you have?

For years we had a an extra wide King size (don't know what it was tech. called) water bed...after I had the third son my back just couldn't take it. We went to a "conventional" queen size. It took a littlle time adjusting, but we did. Mercy, we really do need a new matress tho.

Re: What type/ size of bed do you have?

We have a king sized Sealy Posteurpedic.

There was a time that Andy's doc thought we might need to get seperate beds because he was having so much trouble sleeping but a king size did the trick.

With my back, the Sealy works great.

I know what you mean. We have a California King and it's not easy sharing a Queen size or full size at a hotel or at someone's house. DH likes to sleep on his back with his arms folded under his head (which also happens to be the ideal position for snoring ). I always imagine he'll bump me in the eye with that elbow pointed at me, so the only way I can go to sleep is in a defensive position on my side facing away from him LOL.

Re: What type/ size of bed do you have?

We had a bed built for us 5 years ago--a queen. Had the pillow top on it stitched down to give it a little extra firmness. Moved into this house and had a tough time getting the box springs up the stairs. Had to go and buy a split box set to be able to use it. While we were shopping we spotted a wonderful sale on a Simmons Beauty Rest. Yep, bought it and they gave us the queen boxes free in the deal. We love the new bed and got a king. It is extra firm with a pillow top and we added a 2" thick mattress cover to it. It is a monster to make the mattress is so heavy. I can barely lift the corners to get the bottom sheet on and you should see me tucking in the covers. It is much harder than the queen and we like it a whole lot better. Queen is now in the spare room.

Re: What type/ size of bed do you have?

We have a full size. I love getting close and snuggling everynight. We won't consider a bigger bed.

Ours also (canopy style)...well, not anymore...I took the top part of the frame off so now it has just the four posts...wanted somethin' a little different...have the rest in the attic so I'll probably one day put it all back together when I get bored with this..LOL!
