DH just got his racing suit in

Oh, I thought my hubby looked good in his military uniform. Now this is handsome. I must double, triple all the insurance as he is planning to go drag racing this summer. Talk about a midlife crisis. I will post some pics of his racing achievements if he wins anything.

What class is he racing? My hubby races too. Just Brackets though, I don't want him to go any faster. haha

I had to ask DH as I did not know. Shows how much attention I pay to his hobbies. He races mostly Pro Stock. Guess I spelled that right. Glad he bought the fire suit though. We have a few raceways down here. I get so afraid when he does this. He used to race in the early 90's when he was off active duty. I will be there for him as he races, but it just scares me to death. On weekends we go for a "joy ride" in our 61 Corvette and he likes to run it really fast for a few minutes and I nearly pass out. The police down here let him use our street in front (no neighbors close by) as a drag strip training area. I just pray that he will be safe. I don't know how those Nascar wives do it.

My husband races also but on an oval dirt-track. We had "Test & Tune" Saturday before last....my husband won his race then let his older brother take our car out there for a spin the next race. Two laps in, the back axle broke and my BIL flipped the car 5 times. Luckily, he wasn't hurt...we have one heck of a roll cage in there. It totaled our car out, but my husband already got a new one we are working on. I have it all on video and everyone has wanted a copy of it.

We are also into demolition derbies. They are about just as bad as racing!!
