Has anyone ever forgotten to set their clock back or forward before?

For years my husband and I would show up to church an hour late because of the time change! And every year we swore UP and Down that we would never do that again! LOL

Re: Has anyone ever forgotten to set their clock back or forward before?

LOL...I forgot to change the clock back an hour before in the car. You wouldn't think it was a big deal. I proved that one wrong...lol! Nothing like taking your kingarten kid into school an hour early...LOL! I think maybe they had a 2 hour delay and I decided to get some errands done during that time. What was funny was that I thought I was cutting it close at getting him to school on time..LOL! His teacher and I ended up just BSing for a bit to pass the time (read: laughing at my expense..lol) and then she said for me to head home...he could play around on the PC, read, etc.. until the others showed up. LOL!

Sadly, this happened several days AFTER the time change...I couldn't even excuse it as a slight goof on my part....I know at the time I had a lot going on personally, but I wasn't about to tell his teacher any medical "stuff"...I had to own up to being a real dingbat at times..LOL!

Re: Has anyone ever forgotten to set their clock back or forward before?

Yep, I forget all the time. Not good when I have to get Andy and Tom up for school in the morning, they have ended up running late or early a few times.

Now, Andy just sets all the electronics in the house to auto update, the cable boxes, the computer, microwave and etc so I don't screw up again! LOL!

I never forget because it always falls on my weekend to work and I'd hate to be late/early to work

Re: Has anyone ever forgotten to set their clock back or forward before?

No, because there is always enough mention of it in the media that we remember. Our VCRs automatically change, and my DS always likes to be the one to change all the clocks (he thinks it's fun).

I sometimes wait a few days before getting around to changing the time on my watches, though. But I always remember that I need to add or subtract an hour when I look at the time. Would be easier just to change it then, huh?!

Re: Has anyone ever forgotten to set their clock back or forward before?

Usually I got it right, but one year my DH and I were invited out to a friend's
home and I was going to set the clocks before we left so I wouldn't have to do it late at night. That was all right, EXCEPT it was Friday night, not Saturday! I was reminded of that every time I saw them.

Yes, and it was our first time attending a new church. We were so embarrassed but we did end up going back (at the right time) at a later date.

Yes I have forgotten. Matter of fact 2 years ago I forgot to Spring forward and was late getting My store opened. Oh well not so bad. Just wasn't real put together that day.
