BWAHAHAHAHA I finally got them!!!
I did it! I finally got my kids on April Fools Day. Last night I took their cereal bowls and filled them halfway with cereal and milk, and stuck it in the freezer. Then this morning I put a little more "fresh" cereal and milk on top of it and served it to them for breakfast. Ohhh the look on their faces was priceless. Score one for mom finally! I got the idea from a family magazine.

I told DH about a bunch of stuff I was going to do to the kids...and after he went to bed, I taped the sprayer on the kitchen sink down. I didn't do anything to the kids, but he got a terrific shower this morning when he went to make coffee. It was my first time attempting an April Fools and I think it went very well.

I tried all day. Couldn't get anyone. Finally, I decided to set all the clocks wrong, all around the house. They woke up this morning at 3 am thinking they were late for a meeting. It was raining so the fact it was dark didn't even dawn on them. DH went to get the paper, it wasn't there. They then set off for McDonalds for breakfast. Man were they mad when they got home 20 minutes later. They are both asleep on the couches as we speak. Serves them right, they got me two or three times yesterday.
