FYI: War Of The Worlds (not the movie)

This week they will be holding a mock terrorist attack in several areas.
They will be sounding alarms, sending out mis information over the media and so on. Sounds like it will be intense.
I think the one in CT is Bio Terrorisim.
Jersey will have a WMD.
Canada & Great Britian are in on this also.

I can just see it now.
War of the Worlds.
Alot of people freaking out.
I may just stay in bed that day. lol

Although, this is on such a large scale..............
would be a perfect time for a real attack.
The way we would know it was "real" would be your governor or Pres. Bush on the TV telling us it was real.

Had you heard of this?
Homeland Security spent 16million on this and I'm sure they will learn alot from it.

Crazy, but I doubt Nebraska is participating. Terrorism just isn't a big threat here. We did, however, have a tornado test on the 31st. I didn't hear the sirens, but I was woken up to the alarm in our building sounding, "A tornado warning has been issued. Please proceed to the nearest tornado shelter. A tornado warning has been issued. Please proceed to the nearest tornado shelter. A tornado warning has been issued. Please proceed to the nearest tornado shelter..." Got a little annoying, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I've never been in a tornado, but last summer we had some very severe storms and a few scary nights.

I remember my parents woke me up in the middle of the night last summer and we all had to go in the basement -- horrible hail storm and they were afriad the windows may get broken in, plus we had no idea if there were tornados...it's pitch black out in the country, which makes it that much scarier. Now that I'm in the city it shouldn't be as bad (I hope!)

I remember having to go in the basement during Tornado warnings many times back in OH. Sometimes if can freak ya out a bit.

I have not heard much about this today so far.
But, I have been holed up and not watching the tube or anything.

Heck, I was busy shaving the head.

My friend mentioned that her husband was in CT. Because of your post I knew what she was talking about. I have not heard anything else about it.
