Dumb question for ya.

I'm doing a dinosaur theme for my son's birthday, and I keep thinking about adding palm trees. Do palm trees go with dinosaurs? I don't know why I keep thinking they do. One minute it makes sense to me, the next it doesn't. lol

Am I losing my mind? (Maybe I don't want you to answer that. haha)

Shainie,

Don't feel bad about questioning your sanity...I do it all the time

Anyway, palm trees DO go with dinosaurs. I remember when my son studied dinosaurs. We have a plant growing in our garden (Sago palm) that the teacher said has been around since the prehistoric era and that the dinosaurs ate the leaves off them. They ate fern leaves, too.

So you are correct! What other things are you doing for the dinosaur them?

TELOS!!! Is that suppose to be helping?!?!?! LOL!

Shainie...when Codey made a small float for a Dino projects he used small palm trees to decorate it. Actually we found these cheapie little containers with mini-dinos and in the container were mini-palm trees. I know their coloring books have palm trees as background also.

Re: Dumb question for ya.

Thank you! It's odd how sometimes you just can't make sense of something (like when you spell a word, and it totally doesn't look right, although it is).

I found some cute foam dinosaur masks at oriental trading company that I think the kids would love. I'm not sure of everything I'm going to do with the theme. Not to mention his birthday is 4 months away, and he could change his mind about the theme by then!
