Yeah, kells3 was right, it was Land of the Lost. I loved that show...before CGI with those great claymation dinosaurs...roar, roar!!

My favorite cartoon was Starblazers. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

When I was a kid, all of the good sitcoms and dramas were in syndication, so I watched a lot of those when I got home from school.

Brady Bunch, Happy Days, Gilligans Island, Little House on the Prairie (just watched the new Disney version tonight and it just wasn't the same).

Oh, and how did I forget The Flintstones? I watched those cartoons a lot. That's why when they did a 'real life' Flintstones movie ... I laughed and laughed at how well they cast the characters and their voices.

Re: What kinds of TV shows did you watch as a little kid?

Ohhhhhhhhhh I haven't thought of Land of the Lost in a LONG time. Of course I watched all of the GOOD cartoons (ya know, the ones already mentioned)...I used to watch Lost in Space and Johnny Quest (remember how chiseled everyone was made to look in that one) also. Then of course there were the Smurfs, Snorkels and FRAGGLE ROCK!!!!!! Ok, so maybe I wasn't a weeeee-little kid...LOL! Hmmmmm...Brady Bunch. Beverly Hillbillies (uhhh, the GOOD one...lol)...what's the one where there was a pet pig, one of the Gabor sisters (Ava), song had "Farm living is the life for me...sumpin' sumpin' sumpin'"...lol...dangit..I can't think of it off-hand.

Quick Edit:
OH OH OH...GREEN ACRES!

Re: What kinds of TV shows did you watch as a little kid?

I forgot about a lot of these shows. I thought the Heath was so cute on Big Valley, and really liked Travis on the Virginian, liked Daktori a lot, and Wagon Train and Rat Patrol. Also watched Combat a lot but that was because we only had one tv. Anyone remember The Rounders? It started Chill Wills and a horse that would always sit down. I don't think is was on for more than a season or two. I also like the Phylis Diller show and the Andy Williams show. We also watched Ed Sullivan every week.

It's about time, it's about space--about two men in a dangerous place.

I loved that show and Time Tunnel. How about Land of the Giants? I also watched all those westerns like:

Big Valley
Lancer
Wyatt Earp
Bat Masterson
High Chaparral
Laredo
Lawman
Maverick
Sugarfoot
The Virginian
Have Gun Will Travel
The Guns of Will Sonnett
Alias Smith and Jones
The Rebel
Branded

Re: What kinds of TV shows did you watch as a little kid?

I also watched most of those westerns. I also liked The Rifleman. I used to love Blue Boy (was that his name) on High Chaparral. How about Here Come the Brides with Bobby Sherman and David Soul? It was kind of a western. That was my favorite show at the time.

I didn't care about the plot, as long as I could see Bobby Sherman -- I LOVED him and then David Cassidy. They had great hair
