Question 2005~ A Better Year?

Is this year better than last?
Well, for me it already is.
Last year was the year from Heck.
This year things are moving in the right direction
(maybe not as fast as I would like).

Just wondered how everyone else felt this year was going.
Is this going to be one of your best years?
What are YOU doing to make this a better year?

I'm just glad last year is behind me.

~2005~

Re: 2005~ A Better Year?

Yes and no.

It's good because the scale is going down instead of up. It's good because I'm not so stressed about my birthfamily reunion and I got to spend a week in San Diego with my birth mom.

It's bad because as of January 1 neither my husband nor I have a job. (Although he's doing bodywork at home and making money to pay the bills).

It's bad because my mother-in-law (who has been battling liver cancer for 5 years) is having more health issues. I'm afraid it's going to be a bad year for her.

We'll see what the rest of the year brings.

Re: 2005~ A Better Year?

After graduating from college in Dec. 2004, I am anxious to see what this year will hold for me as far as getting a teaching job. My DH got transfered to a new position closer to home, so that in itself is a great thing for the family. I am working to keep in touch with family and friends...trying to keep a positive outlook.

Re: 2005~ A Better Year?

Great year so far! I'm getting my CC bills paid off - my goal is to be done by the end of 2005 and I'm pretty sure I should make it. My first year at UNL is almost done and I've loved it. My jobs are going well and my family is going on a two-week vacation to Colorado in June which is gonna be a blast!

Re: 2005~ A Better Year?

Good to see you I have been wondering about you. I feel that this is going to be a much better year. My dd is getting her life in order and I think she will be getting custody of her two kids back soon. That will really give me a rest. I have joined WW and have started to lose weight. I have some recurring mysterys shops every month that I like doing.

Britt~No wonder your year is going well.
MY GOODNESS LADY~ you lost one of me~ GOOD JOB!! 109 wtg

Sounds like everyone is moving/trying to move in the right direction this year.

The best thing that could happen to me/us is that we move out of New England. Were working on it. Just has not been a good fit for us.

BTW: Glad to see all of you (now that those darn pop ups are gone).
