What's for Easter dinner? Who is cooking?

I know I will make a ham...but from there I am stuck. I want some new and different dishes to make, I am tired of the green bean casserole, sweet potatoes and deviled eggs. And since I make all the holiday dinners I get to call the shots. HA! Anyone have some great recipes they want to share? I am thinking of making asparagus, mostly because I haven't made it before. I love casseroles that I can make the night before since I feed usually 10 people or more.

Thanks in advance!

Put us down for whatever they have that looks safe at a Truck Stop.
I can't even remember the last time we had an "Easter Dinner".

That ham sounds good though.

Uh-oh, I have no idea. We usually go to my mom and dad's for Easter but we're going to be home this year. Guess I better think of something!

Re: What's for Easter dinner? Who is cooking?

I will be going to Houston to be with my mom. We will eat at her house, her and my stepdad live with my aunt. We will have Ham(picnic ham), mashed potatoes, rutabaga(sp?), cabbage, baby carrots, and rolls... Not sure if we will have a desert I guess I can just pick up a pie or something if my aunt does not have any home made pies in the freezer still

I think it will be a nice time, with my mom being so sick we have enjoyed all of our holidays to the max...We laugh, cut up, play pranks on others and all kinds of neat stuff

Re: What's for Easter dinner? Who is cooking?

We are going to my mom's, but I am taking the dinner there so she doesn't have to cook. We're having ham, potato salad (they love it), sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, asparagus, deviled eggs, applesauce, biscuits .....I think that about covers it. Oh yeah, my dd's are making their "famous" bunny cake!
