Baffled School Shooting in Red Lake, MN
There was a shooting today on the Red Lake Indian Reservation at the high school. 8 people confirmed dead including the shooter. So sad

I caught a little of it on the news - had a shotgun and 2 pistols. Didn't hear much more (kids were being too loud). Will probably hear more at the 10:00 news. It's horrible.

I'm watching it now on the news and it's so, so sad. This is the worst shooting since Columbine. The shooter shot his grandparents, and his grandfather had been a local police official. They figure the guns came from his house.

There are a total of 10 dead now including his grandparents, who he shot at their home before heading to the high school.

I feel sort of like I have ties to these people affected as I work directly with the Red Lake Nation at work. I am sure we will be getting some calls today regarding the medical needs of the injured and also the people who died but were treated at the hospital first.

This is just such a sad thing...whether in MN or not. How can a child be so sad/angry?
