Review on the latest movie you saw.

The last movie we saw in the theater was Robots. I thought it was a great movie! I loved all the rollar-coaster type scenes. I personally liked it better than The Incredibles.

I watched "Ladder 49" twice this weekend. I thought it was a VERY good movie, very well done. Sad, though. I cried both times.

Re: Review on the latest movie you saw.

Sadly enough the last movie I saw was Pooh's Heffalump Movie. lol

I chose that for Shane's first movie at a theatre since it wouldn't have any big action scenes that might scare him (he's 2 1/2). It's a really cute movie - I always love Pooh. (As you can tell from my avatar, I liked the Heffalump too.)

I loved Ladder 49 also--very touching. Last one I saw was Million Dollar Baby. Excellent movie--just didn't care for the ending.

Re: Review on the latest movie you saw.

I watched Supersize Me, a documentary about fast food that can get pretty graphic. The guy who made the film ate nothing but McDonalds food three times a day for a month, and would supersize it if the cashier asked him. It makes you not want to eat fast food anymore.

I need to go to a movie! It has been months since we last went. I am not even sure if I can remember what we saw!

Me, too
Last one I remember seeing in the theater was The Incredibles during the kids' winter break!

We rent DVDs much more often than we go to the theater. Our theater is always packed and sometimes it's such a bother we wait a few months and rent instead! An exception would be a Harry Potter film, which is nice to see on the big screen.

Re: Review on the latest movie you saw.

I"m probably taking my 5 year old to see Robots this week. I'm sure he'll love it. I'm not bringing the 2 year old though - I think that one would be too much for him. (He HATES loud noises. He cried with his hands over his ears all through the previews which are always too loud.)

Re: Review on the latest movie you saw.

I'm thinking there is another 'movie review' thread, but I found this one, so ...

Just watched "Tortilla Soup" again. It's kind of a fun movie, but it makes you hungry ... lots of cooking in that show!

Re: Review on the latest movie you saw.

Okay, we went to see "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." It is not very good, but would be an okay rental. British humor is hard to grasp. This is a Monte Python-like movie that made me giggle a few times, but no rib splitting laughter. Full of puns and silly slap stick. Oh well, to each their own. Wait for the rental!

Re: Review on the latest movie you saw.

We rented Spanglish, with Tei Leone (sp?) and Adam Sandler. I thought it was VERY good. My son and husband just watched Monty Python Holy Grail thought it was hysterical. I kind of fell asleep, but thought it had some funny lines.

Re: Review on the latest movie you saw.

I borrowed 'Meet the Fockers' from a friend. (Terrible name, huh?) I loved 'Meet the Parents', so I figured I'd like this one, too. Ben Stiller makes me laugh. It was very funny, and the little boy and little dog were really, really cute ... but I really wish they wouldn't have made Barbra Streisand a sex therapist ... your imagination can take it from there ... and I thought it was totally unnecessary to have all that stuff in it. This movie is definitely not for kids.
