How are you going to spend your refund??

Haven't gotten all my W2's yet but I am filing online the SECOND I get them in LOL!

My refund is going to CitiBank . But my refund will be enough to PAY OFF my credit card (which is a RIDICULOUS 16.24% interest; never missed a payment, been later either!) which is gonna be a big weight off my shoulders.

How are you planning on spending your refund?

What I do get back will go to paying bills as usual...

Isn't Jan. 31 the date by which all W-2's should of been received.??

I would call and see what happend if you have not gotten them all yet.

We already received our refund and spent it (and then some). We bought some new living room furniture, paid off credit cards and DH got a snowblower. He's so excited...I think he's standing outside right now waiting for it to snow.

I never get a refund and I make sure of it. I would rather pay in some rather than let the IRS earn interest on my money. LOL

Pay off a few bills, stock up the cubboards and buy baby stuff.

I don't get a refund, I PAY and PAY and then PAY some more. Most ppl have their taxes taken out of their checks, money gone, never seen or had in the first place. But when you have to physically sit down and write a check every few months for the local taxes, state and fed, ut oh there goes the blood pressure again. ROFL It will make you sick when you truly realize how much of what you earn is really never yours.

We just e-filed ours last night. Sooooo excited! It's times like this it pays to have 4 kids ($1000 tax credit for each!). Not counting the thousands we SPEND on them the rest of the year of course LOL!

We are planning on putting some in the kids' savings accounts, getting a new lawnmower (DH hates the electric one and has been wanting a gas one.), finish replacing the rest of the windows that we didn't get to with last year's refund, and hopefully some left for a little mini-vacation to San Diego or something.

Ours could not have come at a better time! My husband just went on disability, but his first check won't come until the end of March. We were getting desperate (even though I work and make decent money, I can't pay all the bills). I filed our taxes online on Saturday and our state refund was in the bank today! Federal should come on 2/18.

I am with you telos. We will not be receiving a refund. I keep my money away from the government as long as possible.

I got just back from my account and I'm ever so happy The break down for spending goes as follows....


1. New front door and porch for the house (already picked out!)

2. Clothes for my upcomming DCL cruise (4/28/05)

3. Daughter's Sweet 16 Medieval Theme Party

4. Payoff a few credit cards

I feel like it's Christmas in Feburary Now I can't wait until 2/18 when my federal tax will be in my checking account
