SNOWING in the Twin Cites area of Minnesota!


WOO HOO. Essentially, except for a few flurries here & there, it has not snowed here since last MARCH!!

It wounds like we are in for anywhere form 2-7 inches depending on where exactly in the metro area you live. I hope I get to be part of the area that gets 7 inches. Don't et me worng, I don't like to drive in this stuff, but I sure do love to watch it snow and see it all over the ground

It isn't thrilling me a bit. Wait until you get to be my age and you won't like it either. There's about 6" on the ground over here. You can have the rest that's on the way!

I love it. I have nowhere to go. Finally the kids can go out and play (if it doesn't get too cold). We got a new sled last year, and another one this year. Maybe they'll finally get some use. About an hour ago we had 5 inches.

Well, the official total at the TC airport is 5.5 inches. They reported 8 inches in the city where I live. We ended up with the most of any area in the Cities.

My kids were already out on their snowboards & sleds yesterday!!

I took the back roads home from work yesterday instead of the freeway (I-494). It took me about 1 hour-15 m,inutes to get home from work (It's 14 miles). That's actually not bad either because one of my coworkers who lives in the same area called me and told me it took her nearly 3 hours and she had taken the interstate. It sure makes me glad that I know the back way to get home
