My backyard flooded!!

This morning, i look out the back and i see a guy walking around my backyard.

Ok my first thought is "what the he.. is this guy doing in my yard?"

then i watch him go around to the front and knock on the door.

He says, "im with the village and at first we thought there was a water main break, but after looking, I think you need to get your coat on and look at the pool"

I go outside- my entire backyard is full of water (its under the snow so i couldnt see it) the sidewalk is flowing with water, and its flowing all onto the street. And freezing in the process. Its also in the neighbor's yards...

I walk out to the pool and the water is gushing out of the bottom of the waterwall. And there is nothing i can do... LOL And the only way to figure out the problem is to dig under to pool, or wait until it is entirely drained to see if the liner split...

its just another "fun" thing going on in my life.

and now all spring it will continue do do this until the ice chunk has melted.... We left about 5000 gallons in it (like we always do in winter). But its been such a freeze/thaw winter... sigh.... oh well...

SO... whatever damage it does to my neighbors yard and fence, i will have to pay for...

Oh my...I feel for you. Your homeowners should pay for their damages..unless they want to turn it into theirs and you pay the deductable...if you guys are friends. Good luck

Oh goodness! If you were my neighbor I would just mark it up to one of those freaky things...maybe your neighbors will do the same?!?! Is there really THAT much damage to their fence, etc...? Gosh...I hope it just appears worse than it is.
