My cat weighs 15 pounds too and he made it! It's so funny, that was his 2nd trip up the tree, the first time we didn't have the camera ready. We hear all the limbs rustling and then BOOM he's gone like a flash. He gets up there then he can't get out because the stands of lights are holding him in...lol So I hold the tree until DH can fish him out.

I think it's much easier to have ornaments that you don't have to feed. LOL Very pretty cat, we always had orange cats because they were my moms favorite.

LOLOLOL!!!! We have four smaller versions that have attempted to be decorations on our tree, but they haven't quite got it figured out yet. This makes them jealous of all the other ornaments, so every time we turn our backs, they try to get rid of the ornaments already on the tree.

That is so funny.

It immediately reminded me of a Golden Book my kids used to read, called "The Cat Who Climbed the Christmas Tree." It's about a cat named Benny who can't resist climbing the family's tree, then gets gently scolded by the angel at the top and has to make his way down -- something he hadn't thought about when he decided to climb up! A really cute story.
