Today has been a pretty good day. I'm feeling much better now, and have switched back to drinking Diet Coke . I just went to get cozy for the night and when I started going up the stairs, without thinking, I actually started running up the stairs like I usually do. But after two steps, I'm like, WHAT ARE YOU DOOOOOOOOOOING???? My body was telling me I shouldn't even THINK about doing THAT again for awhile. That's just it, I didn't think. YIKES! But that just shows how much better I'm feeling than I was even two days ago.

Oh, I know what you mean about the stairs because we have a lot of stairs at my house, and my natural instinct is to run up and down them. Actually, you've surprised me at how much you're already doing. That's fantastic, but I hope you can take it easy for a while and pamper yourself a bit more than usual. Hey, think of the reading you can get done!

YorkieLover, my body must have said, "Enough!" today, because I have just crashed all day. As in...did nothing but sleep. Last night, my aunt and uncle and grandma visited (they brought supper) and when they left, my grandma made me promise to be nicer to myself and take it easy more than I had been.

To me, I'm not doing much at all, but I guess it's all relative. I'm not a real active person anyway, although I go in spurts, but I guess I probably have been doing a bit too much at once.

I've been working on "Blessings" by Anna Quindlen for weeks. I can't seem to get into it a whole lot, but then again, we've been on vacation and there was this surgery, so I probably haven't been real focused on much of anything. I'm going to try to finish that tonight or tomorrow, though.

I have a huge (and I mean HUGE) stack of magazines I need to go through. I should just sit and do a bunch of those every day until they're gone.

I'm amazed at how much the bloating of my stomach has gone down in the last day or so. WOW. It's pretty nearly back to normal now! I would have never guessed that three days ago.
