Question Have you tried.Glad Force Flex trash bags.

I got a sample bag last weekend at Wal-Mart. They were a bit pricey (38 bags for 5.49) so I definatley was not going to buy them without trying them out first. Well I just had one bag, which I even tried tearing before I put it in the can and it would not tear. So I said we would put our heaviest trash in their that would normally tear my other bags and see how it works.... I was soooo shocked it really held up unlike my cheap trash bags. So has anyone else tried them yet??? Did you like them???

I am not sure still if at that price I would want to buy them without a coupon because I take out trash atleast twice a day no matter what.

Re: Have you tried.Glad Force Flex trash bags.

I'm wanting to try these. I signed up for a sample and coupon not too long ago so we'll see. Seems we tear a lot of trash bags...soooo..since I have to double bag many times anyways, it's probably cheaper in the long run to spend the extra $ on bags that won't tear.

Re: Have you tried.Glad Force Flex trash bags.

I almost bought them the other day, but I've been happy with my Glad bags, which seldom rip. If they do, it's usually by the handle/tie things.

I sent off for a sample - look forward to trying them.

Re: Have you tried.Glad Force Flex trash bags.

Shainie...are you talking about the Glad bags with the yellow pull string ties?? Mercy, I stopped using those JUST because of the yellow ties. They ALWAYS ripped out on me. For awhile I thought I just got a bad batch. When I bought yet another box of them and they did the same thing I gave up. The bag itself held up pretty well, but it was just too frustrating for me.

I'm not sure, but I think these might be the ones I tested about a year ago. I loved them! Do they look sort of waffley?

I'm another one waiting for my free sample. We frequently have to double bag because a box corner/piece of something just happens to slice /poke a hole through the bag. I'm willing to spend a little more for sturdy garbage bags. Right now the best bags I've found, at a reasonable price, are the ones at Aldi's.

Beffie-one of my teacher friend's students did a project where he tested the strength of many different brands of trash bags by throwing them off the roof full of garbage. ALDI brand bags came in first place!! I have been using their drawstring bags for a couple of years and I think they work well for the money.

Thumbs up Re: Have you tried.Glad Force Flex trash bags.

First I got a free bag and thought it was pretty good, but I hadn't really put it to the test. I did buy a box because I had been having trouble with tearing even with the name brand bags. I thought they were pretty good until this past weekend when I put plastic donut boxes with sharp edges, unflattened cereal boxes, etc. etc and absolutely crammed everything in - not a tear or rip anywhere. Now I think they are GREAT!

Just a heads up if you have a BJs membership, the glad force flex bags are $10.00 for 100 bags. Good deal at .10 a piece!

Re: Have you tried.Glad Force Flex trash bags.

I just love these trash bags, there are often instant coupons in the stores and always check inside the box because they sometimes put coupons in those. They are strong and really hold up. I guess sometimes you do get what you pay for.
