Horrible Week Started!

I had classes on Monday all day....8-5....then my dd had softball at 5 pm so it was a run here sort of thing...well I keep score and try to watch my 6 and 4 year old! LOL!...My 6 year old wanted money to go to the snack bar...I kept telling her to wait until the game was over..yeah that's like talking to a wall!! So I hand her the keys...tell her NOT to lock them in the car...she's turns back to me and giggles, and says she will!! I yelled at her to not and she of course said she was kidding!! Yeah right!! She comes back crying her eyes out! LOCKED THE KEYS IN THE CAR!! I have no spare..it's after hours...dh is gone off to work for the week...wonderful!! Get a ride home...walk to class this morning...about 20 blocks! WHew!! Finally after classes today I walk all the way out to the car cuz the locksmith said he'd unlock it and leave the keys under the mat...nope...he wasn't there. No cell of course cuz that's in the car...(can tell I missed calls on it though!! LOL!!) No money with me to make a local call...try to call home collect..kids are outside don't answer...ugh!!! FINALLY, he shows up...I told him I'd be done by 5 with classes!! Ticked me off he was so late!! So needless to say got it unlocked..had a talk with dd about thinking things like that is funny at all!! Told her to write me an apology note because of course after a while it was funny to her and not to me until tonight of course! Her note made me Cry! It made me feel so horrible...some of it was...to a specil person: I didn't know i'd be a truble maker when i was born. i'm so so sory i locked the keys in the car. i love you so much momy. (ouch!!) I just hugged her and explained she's not a trouble maker but needs to think things through.

How sweet sometimes I wish mine were that age again.

My dd's are always writing apology notes when they are in trouble. Boy they can kill ya can't they. I keep an extra key fob for the remote entry in my wallet. This way if I lock the keys in, I can open it! Also, when I am at my dd's games, I can lock the purse and keys in the trunk, and just put the fob in my pocket. Less bulky!!
