Thumbs up Hair Coloring ESPECIALLY for Brunettes!!

OMG...I LOVE IT!!!

It's L'Oreal's Superior Preference for BRUNETTES!

NO REDDISH tint!!!! Bad side, it isn't really for stubborn gray, BUT it seems to have pulled out the highlights so it's really not so "in your face!"
I bought this a few weeks ago when I saw it at Meijer's. I have been using my usual shade, but for some reason I am getting a VERY red tint to it...not a good tint, like a peroxide tint. YIPES! As my hair gets longer it's a lot more noticable...or maybe because it is from being outside more?!?! In any event I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!! I still have the red highlights that I was born with, but I *think* it looks more natural.

(I used UL61, Ultra Light Ash Brown<-- the color isn't what I would call ULTRA light by any means on my normal hair color)

K...remember my hair is in the process of growing out so don't pay attention to that, JUST the color..LOL!

My hair feels so soft also...gotta love that! Gosh I wish I would have used this weeks ago!!! My Mom had brought over her new camera and had taken pics. outside...OH MY do I wish I would have used this stuff before then..LOL! L'Oreal gets 2 thumbs up from me!

OMG-Mouse..you are so pretty! Your hair looks great too. The color is awesome and it doesn't look like it's "growing out," it looks very styled!!! I wish my hair would go like that

Re: Hair Coloring ESPECIALLY for Brunettes!!

Awww thanks hon', but believe me...it IS in the growing STILL stage..LOL! I have kept it VERY, VERY short (1-1 1/2 inches all over, except bangs) for quite some time.
DH loves the color and he said it's definitely MORE me...I dunno why all of a sudden I was getting such brassy color...oh well...found a new cure..LOL! I really do like it, I don't think it's "dull" either, which is another plus.

Re: Hair Coloring ESPECIALLY for Brunettes!!

Debbie...I know you won't believe this, but my hair is VERY fine/thin. Hair wax (Redkin, water based) and a blow dryer is what I use for this "look"..not even a brush, just fingertips! It naturally wants to flip up rather than under, I just got tired of fighting it...LOL!
No thanks necessary (altho appreciated)...I received the cuter card I bought the envys at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now] and guess what? I am stocking up because they are now on CLEARANCE ( http://www.clearbags.com/?category|TCE )for a small fraction of the price I paid!! If you would not have asked, I would have missed out on them!!! At these prices I can get some of the others I passed on!!! WOOHOO!

Re: Hair Coloring ESPECIALLY for Brunettes!!

Paula! You look so beautiful! I love the color. I don't think your hair looks like it's in the middle of the growing stage either. MY Hair is in the growing stage, can't do a thing with it! Ocassionally it works with me and flips out on my both sides instead of just one though, of course that only happens when I have a day planned at home, if I have somewhere to go it never works with me.

Paula- you have such great stationary! Now I know where to get some of it....thanks!

Re: Hair Coloring ESPECIALLY for Brunettes!!

Love it Mouse! And thanks for the tip. I used an Ash Brown in a different product, and I still got the red tint. Now that my hair has grown out about 1 1/2 inches, you can see the line.

I'll have to give it a try!

p.s. You're just so darn adorable!

Ya'll are too sweet.

Debbie...BAHAHAHA...I even spelled it WRONG and you hit the nail on the head!!!! You go girl!

I hope L'Oreal will keep this line of coloring, but add some for stubborn gray.

Re: Hair Coloring ESPECIALLY for Brunettes!!

Thanks mouse I was looking for it cause my hair is sooo fine and sooo thin maybe it will help me fix it. I do so want to get it cut but it took so long for it to grow out long enough for me to put it up in a pony for work.

Re: Hair Coloring ESPECIALLY for Brunettes!!

Id love to try it but I have such bad gray (im only 27) that it would never work. I dye my hair every three weeks or so because it gets so bad, I pretty much get the skunk look....

I know whatcha mean. I started getting gray VERY young. This coloring didn't COVER it all, but it made it blend in. I had a few highlighted areas here and there afterward...the gray wasn't near as noticable.
